Producer
Davino is one of Romania’s top wineries, pioneering super-premium wines since 1997 in the renowned Dealu Mare DOC. Guided by winemaker Bogdan Costachescu, Davino crafts elegant, expressive wines from both Romania’s native grapes and international varieties.
The estate farms 90 hectares of vineyards in Ceptura, with clay and limestone soils shaping structured reds and refined whites. Davino follows a low-intervention approach, using natural yeasts and minimal sulphur to let the grapes shine.
Recognised for consistency and quality, Davino is the only Romanian winery awarded four stars in Hugh Johnson’s Wine Guide and is targeting organic certification by 2028, continuing its tradition of excellence and innovation.
