Bodega Ferrer Bobet: Ferrer Bobet has risen to the top of the Who’s Who list in Spain. Twice named Spain’s Winery of the Year, and is now one of the elite producers of Priorat. Founded in 2002 by Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Raül Bobet, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate has called it “the future showplace of Priorat.” The winery has distinguished itself through a strict regimen of organic viticulture and high-altitude growing conditions.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Notes of herbal and floral aromas and a rustic side but mostly elegant.
Palate
Beautifully textured, and the tannins are fine; there is no sense of heat at all, and it has amazing balance and a very tasty finish. The oak is perfectly integrated.
